Seems like when friends come to visit, they descend en masse.  I know I've mentioned it before, but it's true!  Last weekend saw Tony Mitchell, apneatic , lithium_picnic , darenzia , angela_ryan , Athena, mistralmadriiax , and more out of towners joining myself, venus_prototype , Gear, h0llyw00dgeisha , punkythecat , piakaamos , perishingimages , and all the other usual suspects for some funky good times.  D-rock, Phillip and Apnea were bunking with me, and they're all leaving today.  I have to say, though, that it's been a debaucherous good time!

Managed to squeeze in one non-GG photo shoot with Apnea, and that's reaffirmed my opinion that she's worth almost anything to work with.  Even got to chaperone her on a shoot with Perry.  First time I've seen the master in action...  I've been waiting for the chance!

Just got back from A John Waters Christmas at UCLA (Peaches opened).  Second year in a row, and third time I've seen JW live.  Fantastic!  Really.  He is one funny motherfucker.  If you get a chance...  I highly recommend it.  Some repeated material from last year, but on a whole, it was so much better with Peaches.  Last year's opening acts blew, except for Phranc (but they only had her do one song, and that made me so very sad).

Spent last week with pervykitten up in Portland, and had way way WAY too much fun.  So much fun, in fact, that I got zero work done and funned myself into a sinus infection.  Way to go.  But I wouldn't have changed a moment of the trip...  And, to make things just that much more special...  Bob K. and I ate at this gross diner by the airport and they had the best menu item I have ever personally had the pleasure to see on a menu (there's no way I would have ordered it).  Yes, friends...  The FISH-A-MA-JIG.  There.  Life is good.  That proves it.
